The little T on the charge port tells you everything

There's a small Tesla logo inside the charge port door, and it turns out it's also a status light. Blue means the port is awake and ready, waiting on you or talking to the charger. Green means electrons are moving, and it pulses while the battery fills. Solid green, done. Red is the one you never want to see. I didn't learn any of that from a manual. I learned it standing in my garage at night, because the glow catches your eye on the way into the house, and after a while you realize you can read the car's mood from ten feet away without ever opening the app. It's a small thing. The car is covered in small things like this, which is about what you'd expect from the company that ships a TRON theme with a straight face. A light that tells you what it's doing, sitting right where you're already looking. More machines should be this legible.
