250 miles without a takeover, and a tire sensor stuck two days back

From the Driver’s Seat · Oct 10, 2026 · v14.3.10
Tesla Model Y center screen on I-435 North at 70 mph with Self-Driving on Standard, confetti across the display and a 250 mi Streak Reached badge. Below it, a yellow tire pressure monitoring system fault, and a tire card where the front passenger tire still shows 42 psi from 2 days ago.
250 miles without a takeover. Under the confetti, the tire fault that won’t clear.

This afternoon on I-435 North, the screen threw confetti at me again. 250 miles without a takeover, on 14.3.10, with Self-Driving set to Standard. Those 250 miles were my road trip back from Wichita to Kansas City, plus driving around the city the last couple of days.

That’s the good news. Look under the confetti, though, and there’s a yellow warning: "Tire pressure monitoring system fault. Pressure sensor fault may clear next drive."

It hasn’t cleared, even after multiple drives. Three of the tires show current readings: 45, 46 and 46 psi. The front passenger tire still shows 42 psi, with "2 days ago" under it. That one sensor isn’t updating.

I’ll be letting Tesla know about it.
