The car is braver than I am on unprotected lefts

Dirty Tesla says 14.3 will commit to an unprotected left the instant the blinker comes on, and he’s right, I’ve seen it do exactly that. The car is very comfortable making a left across heavy traffic. The thing is, I’m not. It’s bolder than I am. There are intersections around here where I’ll actually route the car somewhere it can’t make that turn before I hand control back to FSD, just so it doesn’t go for a gap I wouldn’t have taken myself. I’m sure its judgment is fine. I just haven’t talked my own nerves into trusting it on those big lefts yet, and maybe that’s on me.
