Everyone talks about brake stabs. I don’t get them.
There’s a lot of talk online about brake stabs, the car jabbing the brakes for no good reason. I keep hearing about it and honestly, I don’t run into it. Maybe it’s the kind of driving I do, or maybe it just doesn’t catch my attention the way it catches other people’s, but it hasn’t been a problem for me. And I think I’d notice. A real brake stab would jerk the car enough to get my attention. I can’t point to a single specific time it’s happened to me. So either I’m lucky with the roads I’m on, or it isn’t as widespread as the forums make it sound. From my seat it’s a non-issue.
