I told Grok to avoid highways once. The car keeps remembering.

The car, early September. Same plate, a few more miles.

I’ve noticed something about using Grok to tell the car where I want to go. If you give it instructions by voice, destinations and how you want to get there, it seems to get stuck in the memory of the system, and the car wants to keep following it.

I noticed because I recently told Grok I wanted to take non-highway routes to avoid traffic. After that, every time I put in a route, it seemed to want to take the back road way to get there. I had to tell it to take the highways, or the fastest route. Even then it still seemed to be bopping back and forth between the side roads and the fastest route.

I don’t have an immediate cure for it, because it comes from me talking to Grok, and then Grok putting the paths into the destination map. I’m thinking maybe the car is learning that I want to stay off of highways. That isn’t really true. I only want that in particular situations, usually when traffic is heavy.
