The car gave me a strikeout warning, and it had a point

Tesla touchscreen showing a Self-Driving Features Warning about improper use of Full Self-Driving, warning that the features stop working after four more strikeouts.
The message I got in the Missouri bootheel on the way home.

Somewhere in the Missouri bootheel on the way home, this came up on the screen. Telemetry from your vehicle indicates improper use of Full Self-Driving. Four more of those and the feature stops working for me. My first reaction was to argue with it. I'd been driving since early, I was tired, and I had 17% left and a charger to get to. My second reaction, about a mile down the road, was that it was right. That's the honest version. The system is watching whether I'm actually supervising, and on the back half of a long day home I wasn't supervising as well as I do on the front half. I'd rather it nag me than not. I'm writing this one down because it would be easy to leave out, and leaving it out would make this whole log worth less than it ought to be.
